Spring Term 1

During the first half of the Spring Term, learning across the curriculum helped Year 1 pupils to:

"Understand our thoughts and feelings" 

Pupils supported each other at break and lunchtimes through peer mentoring.

Below you can see some of our mentors from Azul Class, responsible for helping others and keeping the environment safe and clean:

Autumn Term 

During the second half of the Autumn term, Year 1 pupils' Learning Mission was to "Develop a love for story-telling". The Beautiful Outcome for each class was a Nativity play, performed to parents. 

Children learnt many songs and lines preparing for their performance. Every child's confidence grew throughout the rehearsals and every class performed wonderfully!
