Year 6's Beautiful Outcomes

Y6 - Assemblies & Learning

Debate on the Legalisation of Xenotransplantation in the UK

Our Year 6 students recently took part in a fascinating and thought-provoking debate on whether xenotransplantation should be legalised in the UK. This engaging 'Beautiful Outcome' provided an excellent opportunity for children to showcase their oracy skills while tackling a complex issue.

Through careful research and thoughtful discussion, the students explored the ethical dilemmas associated with this controversial topic, presenting their arguments with clarity and confidence. The debate allowed them to consider both the potential benefits and risks of such a medical advancement.

Spring Term 1

During the first half of the Spring Term, learning across the curriculum enabled pupils in Year 6 to

"Engage with moral issues"
